How can packaging be designed today to meet the rising environmental and regulatory demands of tomorrow?
This key strategic question is at the heart of our new research project, ProZero. The aim of this interdisciplinary initiative is to develop a prospective Life Cycle Assessment (pLCA) tool that helps companies make sound decisions on materials, design, and production early in the process.
Our focus is on assessing packaging made from plastic, paper, glass, aluminium, and steel – all within the framework of three scientifically grounded future scenarios that explore how regulation, markets, and climate goals might evolve through 2050.
As a project partner, you will benefit from clear strategic advantages:
- Early insight into future regulatory requirements and circularity targets
- The opportunity to actively shape methodological development
- Exclusive analyses of your packaging
- A competitive edge through forward-looking analysis and targeted use of EcoDesign potential
We warmly invite you to join us in exploring how your expertise can help shape this important project.
Our digital information session will take place on July 3 at 3:00 PM (CEST). If you’re unable to attend, we’d be happy to arrange a one-on-one meeting at your convenience.
You will find further information by clicking on the button below, including details on the project scope, your advantages as a project partner, the timeline, and participating institutions.
We’d be happy to welcome you at our information session and to work together on concrete strategies for the packaging of tomorrow.
